Journal of Analytical Psychology
60th Anniversary Event

‘Reflections on Jungian Clinical Practice: From Then till Now’
(1955-2015)

13, 14, 15 March 2015
Arundel House, London
www.japjungianconferences.com

This conference highlights the Journal’s abiding hallmark – its clinical orientation. Each speaker will draw on a specific paper, originally published in the Journal, which still informs their current thinking and practice.

Don Kalsched – the most widely read and regarded of contemporary clinical Jungian authors – pays tribute to Michael Fordham’s ‘Defences of the Self’, perhaps the most influential of Journal papers. Murray Stein speaks from a Rosemary Gordon paper. Warren Colman, considers the future direction of analytical psychology.

We also have plenary contributions from Jan Wiener, Angela Connolly, Elizabeth Urban and Brian Feldman, in addition to the usual conference workshops, which include a critical discussion of the Editors’ role from Andrew Samuels.

For  full details ( including abstracts of the papers they will speak from ) are available on our website:

SAP & JAP Musical Soirée

Burgh House, Hampstead
Saturday, 14 March 2015
19:30 – 22:30

(to celebrate JAP’s 60th Anniversary
2015 London event)

Instead of the usual ‘Gala Dinner’ held on the Saturday evening of the conference we have opted for a less formal, more companionable format that plays to our (JAP) musical strengths, and so we offer a……

Musical Soirée at which a select crew of our illustrious colleagues will relinquish their professional personas, let their hair down and sing lieder, jazz, blues – perhaps even a sea-shanty!

All this in the elegant but endearing setting of Burgh House, Hampstead, where both its traditional panelled Music Room and contemporary Art Gallery will be opened for our gathering. Wine and an extensive ‘bowl buffet’ – three courses and a dessert – will be served, whilst an informal arrangement of chairs and tables scattered throughout the ground floor will allow guests to circulate, chat, drink, eat and/or listen to the series of short performances, which will be interspersed throughout the evening.

Priority booking will be offered to those registered for the conference, but SAP members and their partners not attending the conference are hugely welcome. Numbers are limited though.

Tickets: £55.  BUY NOW
