What Our members Say?
It was in my 2nd year at Pacifica Graduate Institute when I joined the IAJS as a student member. I have now spent a decade privileged everyday to interact with the true elders of Carl Jung's and Depth Psychologies extraordinary legacy. I've continued to learn from them while attending and presenting at International Conferences and the informative online seminars. I encourage all students to join.
I became a member of IAJS before I became active in the organization. I was moved to become more active once I attended the Cape Town conference in 2008 where I was strongly welcomed not only by those who were old timers but also by others new to IAJS conferences. I loved the international stage and presences of people from many countries. Those attending were coming for a variety of reasons and were not only academics but were also students, therapists, psychoanalysts, clergy, artists, farmers interested in Jung, educators and so on. I look forward to other conferences now but also the online seminars and ongoing discussion forum that reflect a variety of multi-disciplinary approaches that support and/or critique the theory and practices of analytical psychology and psychoanalysis in general.
