Amanda (Tweedie) Wright

“Thirty years ago I had a numinous experience which deeply affected my life and paintings. My subsequent paintings illustrated the extraordinary process whereby the psyche first made personal connection with the transcendent God, having first to traverse, what I termed the metaphysical void, and, second, with the help of Jungian Analysis, embraced the process of embodiment or incarnation. The goal of this journey was spiritual and material synthesis.”

Amanda (Tweedie) Wright MA is a practising artist and works as an art therapist in social services and in private practice in central London. She is a member of BAAT (The British Association of Art Therapists), IAJS and of the C.G. Jung Analytical Psychology Club.
