Wordsworth and Jung: ‘The Sublime and the Numinous’

<sunday june="" 26Sunday June 26th  9.30-4.30, Grasmere

I am writing with a reminder about this unique event next month, set in the Jerwood Library in Grasmere, in the heart of the English Lake District. The conference features eminent speakers from the  Jungian and Romantic studies communities who will explore the links between Wordsworth’s ‘Sublime’, the power of landscape, love and loss, and what
we might mean by ‘Numinosity’. There will also be poetry readings and a chance to look around the library, which hosts one of the greatest collection of Romantic literature under one roof anywhere.

The programme for the day is enclosed, with the flyer.

There are still places left. This will I’m sure prove a memorable event, and it also offers a chance to come up and do some walking in the
breathtaking scenery beloved of William and Dorothy.

If you want to book a place, please contact me on my University email: PMGoss@uclan.ac.uk.
