Call for Papers for the Second Conference on Analysis and Activism: Social and Political Contributions of Jungian Psychology

Dear friends, dear colleagues,

I am very happy to forward to all of you the call for papers for the second Conference on analysis and activism: social and political contributions of jungian psychology, that will take place in Rome, from December 4th (afternoon) to December 6th.

We are working hard at the structure of the program. Our polar stars are: diversity – both of participants and themes – and discussions. Among the few speakers in plenary sessions, there will be space for 60 panelists in break-out groups. Therefore you are all invited to participate!

During the months that separate us from the Conference, any suggestion, idea, contribution and criticism will be more than welcome. Actually, I am asking you to help us with your comments about the London Conference and about your expectations of its ideal Roman continuation.

I have been reading and pondering on the mails about some of the issues discussed and not discussed enough, or on the sufficient/insufficient diversity of participants at London that have been published in our discussion list. Everything you will write will be food for thought for us.

In the next few weeks we will publish the preliminary “structure” of the program, with many details on venues, side-events that we will organize, and, of course method of payment of the fees, which, as you see, have been kept (even) lower than those of the London Conference.

Therefore, I will write you again soon.

Best wishes to all!

Stefano Carta
On behalf of the Scientific/Organizing Committee
