This is the second in a seminar series, the aim of which is to advance the understanding of psychodynamic perspectives in a range of fields of academic knowledge, bringing together academics, psychoanalysts and psychotherapists in a dialogue between psychoanalysis and particular academic fields.

The organisers of the seminar series are Matt ffytche, Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies, and Michael Rustin.  Nicola Abel-Hirsch (Institute of Psychoanalysis and Visiting Professor, Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies), David Bell, (Psychoanalyst and former President of the British Psychoanalytical Society), and Daniel Pick (Institute of Psychoanalysis, and Birkbeck, University of London) are members of the advisory group to the series.

The third seminar in the series will be on Psychoanalysis and Art and will take place summer 2015.
