Basic Jungian Concepts

Dear Colleagues,

Please find below the flier for our week-long course on Basic Jungian Concepts held at the University of Essex.  The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to have a strong and critical introduction to Jung’s thinking and how he applied his ideas to elucidate both culture and society.  We cover major concepts such as the collective unconscious, archetypes, complexes, individuation, the Self and psychological types. We also explore key areas onto which Jung applied his ideas, such as religion and spirituality, and the arts.

In the past two years Andrew and I have run this course, we have had phenomenal feedback from participants and a number of them have become students on to the MA in Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies.

As always, we depend on Jungian colleagues to let others know about the course. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at:

klu@essex.ac.uk

Best wishes,

Kevin.
