The Jung-Neumann Conference at Kibbutz Shefayim, north of Tel Aviv, was well attended. More than 270 participants from twenty-five countries made for a rich and diverse group of conferees.
This is a follow-up to an earlier announcement regarding distribution of any profits made by the conference. As had been decided beforehand and in the spirit of Jung’s and Neumann’s writings on ethics both old and new, financial profits from the conference have been donated equally to two organizations: one that brings ill Palestinian children for treatment in Israeli hospitals, the other an organization that works with post-trauma in Israeli children. All are innocent victims of terror. These funds have been turned over to the respective agencies by representatives of the Israel Institute for Jungian Psychology, which was responsible for the organization and financial management of the conference.
