Marion Woodman

We are sad to announce the passing of Marion Woodman on July 9 2018

Ms Woodman was surrounded by family and close friends and will be missed by all. Marion was a gifted woman, teacher, mentor, friend and loved by many around the world. More details will be available soon.

Marion Woodman, known for bringing the body and arts-integrated practices into Jungian analysis, passed yesterday (July 9th in London, ON). She gifted Pacifica Graduate Institute with her papers -archived repository. She also gifted, with support from another Canadian Jungian analyst –Judith Harris (wrote book Jung and Yoga) — a research chair at Western University. It is the Institute where Dr. Ross Woodman held a faculty position and brought archetypal studies into the academe.
She will be missed. She leaves a legacy of brilliant embodied work.
