Hi Liz, just to come back to you quickly, you misunderstood me – I did not say I was distracted I said that when you talk or speak in person the speaker notes lapses of attention.
And I am also not prescriptive as you characterize me to be !! None of us can stem the long postings some of us make (me included) I suspect!
Like you, and as I said, I am just throwing these comments out there as part of our discussion.
Certainly Jung was a master communicator, tailoring his message to whatever medium – letter writing, lecturing, essayist or book-length writing fit – by tone and length and cadence of prose – to his audience. His bombastic or arcane language is sometimes tough but it’s for simmering and sometimes it’s incomprehensible.
