It clarified for me the relationship between language and the biosphere in which we dwell: language, especially poetry, perhaps (?), does not emerge from inside us—between our ears—as a merely representational picturing of the world, but rather emerges ecosystemically, along with us as humans, out of a more original engagement and embeddedness within the earthworld…
